I had this wierd dream... It was like a Nintendo DS game, because I remember using the controls, but it was like a VR/DS, because it was like I was there. Wierd megaman/mario game style cross, too. Lots of caves, tunnels, monsters, etc. For some reason, I was mining in a cave, wherein a known vicious deadly cloud of red swarm stuff lurked. It had eaten my parents, and yet I was in that cave... I dunno. Then there was a scene with these wierd parts creatures, kind of like from that movie 9, only of largely varying sizes, and with a "blood" that I think was a experimented on form of the red cloud stuff. They also had souls and special powers... One of them had the ability to send other souls into the afterlife. Another of them could "vanish" things. And all of them just wanted to be sent onwards, despite being trapped there. One of them shows up injured and in pain, and beyond full repair, so the one with the soul sending ability sent her onward. The one with the vanishing was angry, because she was supposed to be the one sent onward next, and the sending exhausted the sender. So the vanisher vanished one of the sender's legs. Just "touch" "poof" gone. Then there was a wierd flashback scene, with really awesome airbrushed style artwork, and extreme DS controls, and the person I was was running through the caves, having heard some wierd thing, and made it to the top of a lookout point, after climbing a brokendown metal ladder in a back rundown mine shaft, just in time to see this cloud of red going through a wooden gate towards the exit of the mines. Pulling a lever that I miraculously knew existed, I closed the gate in time to catch half of the cloud on either side, and watched as it roiled and buzzed in anger...


Then I proceeded to wake up, and I've been having awesome pictures in my head all day from this dream, because it was all in amazing detail. The colors, textures, motions, everything... So much detail I can't even describe it properly.

The vanisher-creature was small, about the size of a grapefruit, and had four spindly legs. The main body was mostly taken up with one large eye. Mostly dark colors, and I'm pretty sure that one was made mostly of metal. The sender was different, made up mostly of wood, and appearing much more like a shaman or mystic, with beads and dangly things all over. She had a wierd black/yellow/green kinda stripey pattern, that somehow didn't look too sickly. Although that might have something to do with the dim lighting typical of such scenes.

The injured one was almost entirely humanoid, except for the fact that she'd had her head removed, and her "blood" was spilling out kinda like from a ketchup bottle, because she was mostly hollow on the inside. Pouring some of the red stuff back in was actually a somewhat effective tactic for healing some of the damage done to her, as well, as I saw some of the other critters doing that, trying to keep her in good shape longer. When they finally gave up on keeping her sane, the sender just sent her off.
